Identification Guide to Bat Echolocation Calls of Solomon Islands and Bougainville

The guide was produced by Michael Pennay and Tyrone Lavery with assistance from the ABS bat conservation fund. It describes the calls and includes an identification key for most species of insectivorous bats that live on the hundreds of Islands of Solomon Islands and autonomous region of Bougainville (PNG). The guide is based on thousands of reference calls collected from the beaches, forests, caves and muddy mountain tops across the Solomon archipelago.

This guide is available free for download.

If you have and questions about the guide please feel welcome to contact Michael Pennay.
